Paise ki Baat! Seekhein Money & Finance Vocabulary in English

Hum sab life mein kabhi "Broke" hote hain toh kabhi "Splurge" karte hain. Lekin kya aapko pata hai ki "Kanjus" ya "Faltu kharcha karne wale" ko English mein kya kehte hain?

Aaj ke is article mein hum seekhenge Money aur Personal Finance se judi aisi vocabulary jo aapke budget aur baaton, dono ko manage karegi!
1. Spending Habits (Kharch karne ki aadatein)
Har insaan ka paise kharch karne ka tareeka alag hota hai:
  • Spendthrift: Jo bahut zyada aur faltu kharcha kare.
    • Sentence: "Stop being such a spendthrift; save some money!" (Faltu kharcha band karo; thode paise bachao!)
  • Stingy / Miser: Jo paise kharch karne mein bahut kanjusi kare.
    • Sentence: "He is so stingy that he never treats us to coffee."
  • Frugal: Jo samajhdari se aur zaroorat ke hisaab se kharch kare (Economical).
    • Sentence: "My father is very frugal; he hates wasting money."
  • Big Spender: Jo mehengi cheezon par dil khol kar kharch kare.
2. Financial Status (Paise ki halat)
Jab account balance upar-neeche ho, toh ye words use karein:
  • Broke: Jab paas mein ek rupaya bhi na ho (Khaali jeb).
    • Sentence: "I can't go to the movie; I'm totally broke this month." (Main movie nahi ja sakta; is mahine meri jeb bilkul khaali hai.)
  • Well-off / Wealthy: Jo ameer ho aur acchi life jee raha ho.
    • Sentence: "His family is quite well-off."
  • Make ends meet: Mushkil se guzara karna.
    • Sentence: "With rising prices, it's hard to make ends meet."
  • Rolling in money: Jab kisi ke paas behisaab paisa ho.
3. Shopping & Prices (Sasta aur Mehenga)
  • Dirt Cheap: Jo bahut hi sasta ho (Kaudi ke daam).
    • Sentence: "I bought this shirt for 200 rupees; it was dirt cheap!"
  • Exorbitant / Ripped off: Jab koi cheez hadd se zyada mehengi ho ya aapko thag liya gaya ho.
    • Sentence: "The popcorn prices at the cinema are exorbitant."
  • Affordable: Jo aapke budget mein ho.
    • Sentence: "This smartphone is quite affordable for students."
4. Loans & Savings (Udhaar aur Bachat)
